Featured on The Knot's Chinese Wedding Site 2/2011

It's so nice to know that all the hard work that went into planning all the details for your wedding is recognized...especially by the editors of Wedding Channel and now, The Knot. My wedding is being featured on The Knot's "Chinese Weddings" niche site. It is going to go live on The Knot China too! I'll post it when it does. Here is a photo of our cake that was made for us by Bridgewaters. I supplied them with camera-ready artwork of our "double happiness" and "Mazel Tov" logos along with a sketched drawing of what I wanted and they created it! The red fondant ribbons were supposed to mimic the buttons that were on my traditional Chinese cheong-sam. The cake topper were ceramic "dragon" and "phoenix" sculptures that I ordered from China.

Wedding of the Day!

Thanks to our beautiful photos taken by our photographer, Shira Weinberger, our wedding was selected as "Wedding of the Day" on WeddingChannel.com today! Such a sweet honor even after one year has passed. It makes me want to get married all over again!

Nonpareil Magazine

We were asked by Lindsay Landman Events to participate in an online wedding editorial feature for Nonpareil Magazine. Lindsay asked us to design menus, place cards and table numbers to be used in her Art Nouveau-themed table top designs. The entire article was produced beautifully. New York-based wedding photographer, Sophia Negron shot the story.

Your Wedding Day Press, Spring 2010 issue

Jacky Grottle of Event Success had her work with our mutual client, "Carina & Stren" featured in the Spring 2010 issue of Your Wedding Day. In this colorful spread in the magazine, they featured our invitations and table markers all printed on wood.

My Fair Wedding with David Tutera

Back in the Spring, we were asked by party planner extraordinaire, David Tutera to design escort cards for his bride Jamie that was featured on his WEtv show, "My Fair Wedding". We were more than happy to design these bright orange and purple-themed cards for their reception. Here is the video snipit featuring our cards at the very beginning of the video. It's short, but sweet and we are still so excited and honored that the showed reached out to us.

The PINE Awards

Our letterpress printer submitted two of our designs this year into the PINE Awards (Printing Industries of New England) competition. I'm so happy to announce that both designs won for overall achievement in printing and design. Vani & Russell's won the Pinnacle Award and David & Phoebe*, an award of merit. *We apologize for not being able to show David & Phoebe's design in it's "full glory" at this time. We will update the image when we have a new photo.

Double Happiness was featured in La Bella Bride's 2008 issue! VanTrang & Jamie and Vani & Russ' invitations were chosen as editorial pieces. The editors also asked us to submit 2 of the 50 "Tips & Trends" of 2008!
