Caroline & Michael

Wishing Caroline and Michael a beautiful wedding tomorrow despite the forecast of rain. Even if it does, I'm sure they will have an amazing time! It was such a pleasure working with Caroline on her letterpressed, Asian-inspired, butterfly design. The peony that the butterfly lands on was blind embossed into the paper.  Their English invitation was translated into Chinese and printed on the reverse side...also via letterpress and with no show-through...thanks to Sarah from Shed Letterpress and her artisan printing methods!

Unique & Fun invitation

Although I didn't design this piece, I thought it was so unique and clever. It so clearly told the story through simple typography about a couple who literally traveled great lengths to get to the altar! Thank you to my friend Sharon for sharing this with me! My question is..."What size envelope did this go in?" =)

Yvonne & Jason's Wedding

It's been over 9 months since the wedding, but I figure it's better to post the photos now before our anniversary!

For our wedding and our invitations...I wanted to incorporate my Chinese and my husband's Jewish heritages. Red and gold were the key colors for our wedding.

The invitations were printed in English on one side and Chinese on the back on 600gsm coverstock. We also had a custom wax seal made to close the wrap for the invitation. On the back of that, we had in Hebrew, "I am my beloved's. And my beloved is mine."
Each piece was beautifully letterpressed by The Applecart Press based in Maine. The wrap was blind debossed by GM Printing in Long Island City.

I've also chosen to include images of our fabulous flowers (Designs By Ahn www.designsbyahn.com) and photos from our reception where I designed all the table markers, menus, favors, escort card signs etc.

The beautiful photos were taken by Shira Weinberger.
